madkrazyghetto @ 12:57pm: So I think I'm looking at the Toshiba - Satellite Laptop with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor, which has slightly better features than the other one I was looking at, the Dell - Inspiron Laptop with Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core Processor. I sort of wish I was better at this sort of thing, but honestly, the whole process just kind of bores me. I want to just get a computer for a month, do my normal shit, and see how I feel.

In other news, kudos to CBS for their mock-Dos Equis commercial touting Sheldon as 'The Most Annoying Man in the World' and encouraging us to 'Stay Nerdy', my friends. Also kudos to the BBT cast-based year in review photo spread in this week's EW. (Last year was HIMYM, right? Did CBS buy out Entertainment Weekly or something?)

This is my first winter in Brooklyn, and it snowed about a foot last night. Winter isn't so bad when you don't have to go anywhere, don't have to shovel the walk (and then the neighbors across the street that threatened you that one time even though they're the ones that hit your car and lied to the cops about it laugh when you slip on the ice and fall down (we live on a hill)), and don't have to worry about your front-wheel drive car crashing when you try to obey alternate side of the street parking on a street they never actually plow. So this is actually pretty sweet.

So I'm finally catching up with shit on Hulu (I've got, like, a week's worth of TDS/TCR, roughly a season's worth of Legend of the Seeker at this point, and they've just uploaded S10 of Stargate, and while between me and the roommate, we own Stargate three times over, I can't resist the urge to watch it, as though watching the 'gates on Hulu will somehow balance out the universe) (also, inexplicably, they refer to '200' as 'Remember When (200)' and I don't think I've ever heard the episode referred to as such. I do not know what they're smoking). BUT ANYWAY. Catching up with shit on Hulu, watching House, and I'm looking at the plot-moving-forward dude in the beginning of the episode, and you know who it is? THE DUDE FROM MATHNET. I couldn't remember his name or the character's name, but just looked at him and yelled, "MATHNET!" It's a good thing I'm by myself. Of course, that also leads to behavior like yelling at Hulu.
